Yellowstone Country is where some of the world's great trout rivers are born, famous names like the Yellowstone, Madison, and Snake. It's also home to innumerable smaller streams and lakes that aren't as famous, but offer fishing that's just as good. I've called this part of the world home since 2001 and I'd love to introduce you to some of my "home water," whether famous or not.
My home base is in Gardiner, Montana, at the north entrance to Yellowstone Park. This home base gives me excellent access to offer guided fly fishing trips in Yellowstone Park and guided fly fishing float trips on the Yellowstone River. I don't limit myself to trips in this area, however. I love to travel to follow the best fishing and offer guided trips all over southern and south-central Montana. This singular base of operations but broad focus allows me both to zoom in on the Yellowstone Park and Yellowstone River area when fishing here is hot, but gives me the freedom to take you wherever the fishing is great when it's not quite right in my backyard.
I offer a wide range of guided fishing trips, including power boats trips. I am one of only a handful of Montana fly fishing guides licensed to operate power boats, and this fact opens many doors for my clients. I guide clients of all skill levels, including kids.
On this site you'll find information about us, information on the guided trips I offer, plenty of free fly fishing & tying tips, and information on my books. I am currently revising my fishing report/blog and photo gallery pages -- look for new versions this winter.
Give me a call at (406) 223-8204 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up some guided fishing trips in Yellowstone and Montana. I'd love to take you fishing.
